Hi there,

This is because a mechanic changed an injector and then the car got worse. They also removed that small filter in the return pipe, they did this because the car was no longer idling, after a few seconds it stopped. But now he has no power to change gears, it is like"drop in the nose" as they say. Could you please help me with any advice? Many thanks!

Hi,

Please understand, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

First, have they been able to retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes? Also, has fuel pressure been tested? When it is running, how would you best describe what it sounds like? Any noise from the exhaust that could indicate a plugged catalytic converter?

One other question that I'm embarrassed to ask. Let me know if this is a diesel or gas engine.

Take care,

Joe

Hello Joe,

They put again to see what diagnostic have, first they said injector 2 after injectors 1 and 2, and last time injector 3, but I m not sure if I can trust them anymore, because when they changed injector 4, he turned my whole car upside down. It makes no noise. It's a diesel engine. Thank you

Hi,

It could be related to the injectors. Do you know how they inspected them or determined they were at fault? Have they given you any guarantee that this will fix the issue?

Joe
