2003 Dodge Van shaking/vibrating

Dodge 3500 15 passenger van shakes and vibrates at 60 mph when you give it gas and the overdrive is on. Does the same thing with the overdrive off at 45mph. Check engine light did come on.

Hi:
Start by having the computer scanned for codes. Most parts stores will do it for free, so there is no out of pocket expense.

The vibration (w/ and w/out OD) sounds like a tire problem rather than engine. The RPM difference should change the feel if nothing else.
