Brakes problem
2001 Dodge Van 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70.000 miles

when I step on the brakes they don't release right away what causes this.

Restricted brake lines. Overfilled brake fluid resevor. Bad cap on brake fluid resevor or a misadjusted brake pedal.

If those are good the brakes may not be properly lubed and return springs weak
