Hello,

In order to find out what causing the error light and no start, you will have to scan the vehicle for codes related to the electronic throttle control (ETC).
That will point to if you will new ECT or what is triggering the no start.
It could be as simple as a sensor not providing correct feedback to the ETC and using that info the ETC triggered the no start to protect the components.

The PCM continually monitors the ETC system circuits and sensors to decide whether the system is in good operating condition. The trouble codes will be stored in PCM
