2004 Dodge Truck Not sure

When I was driving earlier, I pressed gas pedal to the floor and the truck felt like it was dying and bogged down, then it accelerated and things were fine. Felt like transmission.

First off was the engine reving up when you pressed the gas petal, if yes then check the transmission fluid. If no check the fuel filter. If almost clogged it will cause a hesitation.
