2004 Dodge Truck error code p 0628

I have an 04 ram 2500 with a 5.9 deisel it the check engine light came on, check it out and the 0628 code showed up fuel pump relay control circut, today the trucked stalled a few time and now it won't start, ok if its the fuel pump relay where is it located, and is easy to change, thanks so much

Thanks for the donation.

Your diesel engine is not equipped with a fuel pump relay. This codes illuminates when there is a fault with your fuel (lift) pump. It is a very common issue with this vehicle. You will have to replace the fuel pump with a new design fuel pump that is now integrated into the fuel tank instead of on the engine. You will need to speak with your local Dodge dealer to see if you are covered under warranty for this repair.
