I am trying to replace the front axle ujoints. Do you have to remove the outer axle nut on the rotor? I have not been able to turn the nut.
Please call me with the answer as I do not have access to the computer. 775-289-4252

Ok here is what you do. You need to get the axle nut off first. Then loosen the lug nuts and jack up and support the side you are working on. Remove the tire. Now unbolt the caliper and use a bunge or a coat hanger and support the caliper. Now you will remove the hub assembly, now you pull the axle through the hole left from removing the hub. Put back in reverse order. Here is a pic of the axle assembly that you are replacing.
