2002 Dodge Truck alarm

I went to start my truck and security device activated. There is a little red light flashing in the lower right corner of the dash. None of the electronics work, not even the remote. I tried disableing the battery to reset the computer but nothing happened. How can I get my truck to start again.

Is this alarm a after market item? If it is there should be a little push switch under the dask on the drivers side. Try locking the doors with you on the outside press unlock button to see if that works. If not open the door and push the switch and while holding the switch in, then turn the ignition on.
