I have a dodge 2500 cummins diesel. When I drive it and it gets to around 2000 rpms, it seems to slip and the rpms only go up and down. While I slow down and block cars. Haha. Any ideas? Trans fluid is full and i'm not a mechanic, so i'm stuck. Thank you for your time. -John

John these transmissions have solenoids and pressure sensors in them that go bad often, have it checked out by a tranny guy and see if he can run a scan test on it and find out if its a solenoid or sensor.

Use a small scan tool to read the codes, if there is a governor press sensor code or a transducer code replace them as a set. There is a techtran mnual that will show you how to remove the valve body and replace those solenoids on skribd. Com
