Electrical problem V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 88000 miles

Already Tried:
Won't start with the ignition key. I pulled the starter and operated it with a jumper switch. I've replaced the starter relay in the power block, checked all fuses, both inside cab and engine compartment. Ohm-ed out ignition switch all seems fine. I can start it with a starter switch hooked up, bypassing the key. Ie. "Turn on the key and press the start switch, runs fine. I suspected the anti theft alarm somehow became activated and won't allow starting, there's no audible alarm.

I have disconnected the battery and re-connected in hopes of clearing the alarm. I bought the truck used a year ago and didn't get an alarm / door lock remote. I also notice at night when I turn off the engine a blue light from the switches in the center of the steering wheel flashes 1 time.

Do you get power out of the dark blue/yellow wire at the ignition switch with key in crank position? If so be sure nothing is spliced into that wire(aftermarket alarm). The factory alarm doesn't look like it disables crank, just fuel. If you have power at that wire under dash, be sure you have power at the relay (yellow/red wire- position 86 in the relay plug).

You should have power at position 30 (fed from fuse #2) and position 85 should go to ground when truck is in park. Also check to see if it will crank in Neutral, if so the park/neutral switch on the side of the trans may be bad
