1992 Dodge Truck Low oil pressure at idle

Once engine warms up, when you come to an idle the oil pressure drops and oil light flashes on and off. I am running 10w-30 Pennzoil in it and I only run Shell V-power gas in it. Should I go to a 20w -50 oil to correct this.

There have been a lot of problems with the sending units, but they usually affect just the gauge, not the light. Start by measuring the actual pressure with a mechanical gauge.
