Engine problem
1987 Dodge Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive 75000 miles

I replaced the ballast resistor after several wet clammy days when the truck would not start. The truck started right up and I ran it with no problems for 45 minutes. I was almost home when the truck sputtered and would not start up. The truck acted like it wanted to start but would not I changed the ballast resistor and nothing would happen. Then I changed the control box and the truck would still not start HELP. 309-796-1887

Check the distributer cap--the plugs--and plug wires. Be sure the plugs are gapped properly. Also check to see if you are getting spark.
