1999 Dodge Stratus 135000 miles. I have been engine trouble. There happens to be oil in the coolant tank. I checked the oil dipstick to see if there had been a mixture of the two but the dipstick only has oil on it. Very soon after the car is started smoke comes out from under the hood located around the were the gaskets are. The car doesn't run hot. What could be going on?

Check were the tranny lines go to the front of the car, if they screw into the radiator, the tranny cooler is leaking tranny fluid into your radiator. You will have to replace the radiator and flush the engine block real good!
