Chilton manual error and info needed - '99 Dodge Stratus

Hi, I have a 99 Dodge Stratus, 2.4, sedan. I need to do some work / replace the steering rack. All the Chilton repair manuals I have looked at show only steering gear information, not the rack and pinion. I am scared to spend 19.99 for their online manual because it might be the same issue and they state no refund. Can anyone shed light on this issue or direct me to a correct repair / replace DIY source? Thanks

Brother, I'll tell you getting information can be a real problem. This is a topic I could spend an hour with, but I won't. You can try the chysler website. That you'll have to pay for as well, and still may not get what you need. Mitchell 1 provides very little. I am sure there is a tech here that can help, I just don't know which one. Check through the staff and send a pm as a possiblity.
