Noises problem
2002 Dodge Stratus 72, 00 miles

My car just recently started creaking. It sounds like it is coming from by the wheels. What could this be and do I need to get it fixed right away?

WHen do you hear the creaking? Does it only happen on bumps, turns, all the time?

Mostly all the time. I hear it more often when turning left and on bumps.

Chances are it is being caused by dry or worn sway bar bushings. They are under the front. THere is a round steel bar that runs from one side to the other. It is mounted in 4 places and rubber bushings hold it in place. When they get older or dry out, the make noise. Check that and let me know. You could even try spraying something like WD40 on the bushings to see if it helps. However, usually the oil doesn't make it the entire way through and it doesn't stop it.

Let me know if you have other questions.
