2000 Dodge Stratus Engine Cooling

Good evening!
Tonight, while traveling home, I hit a deer.
There was no cosmetic damage to the car. I may have been going 35 mph. I sort of hit the deer and knocked it off its feet. There may have been a slight impact underneath the grill of the car.
When I returned home (it was a cool night and we
did have the heat on), there was a pool of water
coming from the passenger side of the car, in front of the wheel. I know that water will drain after running the AC. But does it drain after using the heater also?

Check your coolant level. The impact may have knocked a radiator hose loose or damaged the radiator slightly enough to cause it to leak. The heater shouldn't leak as it uses coolant to work, the A/C drips actual water that forms up on the cold freon lines.
