1998 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Fuse #8 keeps popping, causing my car not to start. The battery is not dead because my lights work. When I change the fuse sometimes my car starts, and sometimes it doesn't. What would be causing the fuse to keep popping?

Hi: There has to be a short somewhere to pop the fuse that quickly. If you check the owner's manual, it should tell you what the fuse if for.

Let me know what you find and we'll go from there.
