We had the PCM reprogramed this week due to a recall. We had a problem where it would not hold codes. Now the check engine light is off. No codes. We have 5 complete, and 3 incompletes. The incompletes are EVAP, catalyst and o2 sensor. We replaced the upstream O2 sensor prior to reprogram. We need to get one of these incompletes off to pass inspection in Texas. Do you have any tricks or ideas of where to start?

What it is the PCM needs to perform a certain number of drive cycles that include starting, driving up to 55 or so, stopping and turning off, Give it some time before you retest it, then go to Autozone b4 you retsest, they can tell you if it's ready, and will do it free!

It take time you need to drive it more
take it on the free way
it has to complete a drive cycle
give it a good long ride
check thermostat and coolant sensor
if all didn’t work
its may not be reaching oper temp

Can you read freeze frame data with it? Is anything stored there?

Do you have a Califonia emmission car? Recall # 678 is a PCM reprogram! Seems the PCM resets the readiness codes on every key off, so it will not be inspectable, have this checked at a dodge dealer!
