1996 Dodge Stratus

My car does not run constantly for more than about a half hour. It runs fine untill then but shuts off by its self. I have replaced the temp sen. In the rad fill and changed the ign coil niether helped. Also the stereo will not turn on, when the wires arc it wants to start the car. I changed this fuse and it immediatly blew, are these problems related? If so why? And how do I fix them? If not fixing the running problem is priority. Please help me thank you Landon

I don't think they are related. What is causing an arc with the stereo? Also, as far as the engine, has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pressure? Finally, does it always start right back up or do you have to wait?
