Just dropped in another engine car is running great. For some reason now after the car has been running the check engine light comes on & check gauges light.I've taken it to a garage had it scaned and got no codes. The on board computer gives me a code 41 saying low voltage. The battery is providing enough amps and the alternater has been checked.I am thinking of replaceing the ignition switch&computer.I've checked for loose connections and found nothing. Also afterthe car has been running the lights, turn signal, fan&radio all go dim but the car is running fine.

Hi, was the computer in the donor vehicle, the same as in your vehicle?

Use a digital multimeter, take reading across battery posts, everything turned off, the generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. Take second reading across the battery posts, engine running, the second reading should be higher than the first, if charging system is working. You need to test charging when problem is ongoing. Was the alternator tested on or off the vehicle?
