'91 Shadow ES convertible - Have the door panel removed, what are the steps to replace the motors that operate the windows? Is there a good place to the motors rebuilt rather than replaced?
Thanks.

Hi
Raise window within 1 in. Of top. Tape up. Remove power wires then the three bolts holding motor/regulator. Remove nuts that hold lift plate to glass remove through acess hole. Most motors are sold new very few are rebuilt check Auto parts this site can get better price than parts house.
Hope this helps

I cannot see any bolts & nuts. Looks like rivets must be removed. I'm hoping to find location to drill extra holes for easier access. Maybe even jig saw a large panel and reattach.
