Without Lift or Drop

I got a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Duel Cab 2x4 Pickup and I want to replace the factory size tires(225/75R16) to it. Can I put on 305/70R16 tires on it without a lift on it. I like those wide tires so which wide tires would fit without a lift or a drop on the truck?

I think that tire might be too big, but check this out, open your drivers door and check the vin sticker, it should have an optional tire size on it

Thank you for the feedback but the 225/70R16 tire size is the only option on the vin sticker. Is there any other wide tires to fit the truck without a lift or a drop?

Thanks again

I made a mistake, the tires I got on the truck right now is 255/75R16 not 225/75R16. I'm sorry about that. So is possible to put on 305/50R16 on it than? Thanks again for your time.
