Ignition timing

I have a 2002 dodge ram 150 4X4 5.9L engine I just replaced the distributor and I wanted to know what the timing is suppose to be set at?

NOTE: Base (initial) ignition timing is NOT adjustable. Do not attempt to adjust ignition timing by rotating the distributor.

All ignition timing functions are controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

A DRB or equivalent scan tool may be used to verify base timing and electronic timing advance. Refer to the Scan Tool instructions for procedure.

Fuel synchronization can be verified and set by rotating the distributor.

Here is the firing order below. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Only base timing when you do the timing chain
moving the distributor will not effect the timing and it shouldn't be rotated
computer is responsible for correcting the timing as needed

Check under the hood there is a sticker labeled catalyst it usually on that or pick up the haynes manual and it is in there

What is the proper way to set the ignition timing. How do I disable the computer and adjust the timing. My Hood tag says refer to repair manual and the repair manual says to refer to the hood tag.
