Dodge Truck

Hello I have a 1994 dodge ram 1500 2wd pickup.
when driving at low speeds when I trun left there is a sound from the driver side that sounds like a old rust gate opening but when truning to right the sound is not there I think it could b bad ball joint but am not sure
