I have a 05 Ram 1500 that makes a whinning noise when I accelerate. The longer you drive the more frequent the noise can be heard and the more severe. When I tow my boat and put some added weight the noise gets real bad. I have had the car to Dodge several times and they changed the fluid in the rear or say they can't isolate the noise. Any ideas? I already know it is not a loose belt, it almost sounds to me like it comes from where the transmission is. Thanks

Could be either the trans or rear end doing it, possibly even the driveline. Does the noise change pitch when it changes gears or if you hold it in a particular gear? How about when you let off the gas, does it change then? Definitly keep all receipts of their inability to repair the vehicle they sell so when it goes out of warranty (what they are probably waiting for) and breaks you can have proof that you had it there for the exact same thing, and they couldnt fix it
