I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, my left front wheel bearing has gone out and I need to replace it, the problem I have is I need to know how do I get the three bolts out that are behind the bearing that holds the hub on, I have tried to use a swivel socket but I still dont have enough room to get the bolts out there is a lip on thecv joint that is in the way. Remove axle nut
and tie rod end use a socket and extension Back off the hub/bearing mounting bolts 1/4 inch each.
Then tap the bolts with a hammer to loosen the hub/bearing from the steering knuckle.
