Hello,
on my 03 dodge ram truck diesel 5.9 turbo cummings
notice on dash that the p0700 code has coming on which I know by experinace is a trans dtc, but truck had been shifting fine, but after about a day of hold off to plug in code reader on notice by this time service light was on so when I plug it in found the dtc p0123 tps/pedal postion senor a circuit high input, so the first thing I did was look up code on alldata and to my knowledge didnt find nothing with info for that dtc, so after googleing this dtc had notice a couple of other forums on a possible tps sensor issue but to try to erase dtc first to see if it comes back on and in this code p0700 had not been pick up on my code reader yet, so I earse dtc and drove truck for about 30 miles and after cycling ignition service light came back on, drove back to my shop and once again code p0123 was back on no code p0700 yet either now notice that after light came on that truck didnt go into overdrive so tryed to earse code agian for p0123 and it wont reset stays on wont clear so I decided to purchase the tps a 350 part and install it and after replacing it did a hard reset which from reading posts disconnect both batterys for about 30 min and then connect them and turn ignition on and press gas pedal to supposely calabrate tps and after doing all that same code and wont go into gear, try to call local dodge dealership and they didnt want to give me any info whatout taken it to them so I wanted to try this before taken it to dealership first, so if someone can advise me it would be grealty thankful

Best bet would be to check on a cummins site, I found one that claims that the procedure you used wont reset the APPS (TPS), this could be why it wont go into gear at all. You will need a wiring diagram to find thecorrect wires to read thevoltage at with a meter to reset the sensor. My software gives th esame procedure so I will give you a link I found for that
