When idling, after driving and being warmed up, engine begins to rev up a few RPM's not alot but probably like 200 or so from idling RPM's. Then my coolant light will go down as if it is cold and the check engine light illuminates. After scanning my truck it reads code that coolant temp sensor too high of voltage. What does this mean and how should I go about fixing it?

Most likely the sensor is either unplugged or needs replacing. Here's a pic of the location.
