My truck dies, seems like it does it more when its raining. I took it to auto zone to have the check engine light read they said it would be the speed controll sensor I need to know where that would be located and if it would cause me to think I was having transmission problems. Any help please

Vehicle speed sensor is mounted to the rear axle and sends signals to the CAB(Controller Antilock Brakes) and from there to the PCM(Powertrain Control Module) which controls basically everything.
