2000 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual

my head lights stay turned on and the high beam indicator light is on when the truck is turned off and the headlight switch is in the off position. Any help troubleshooting this problem would be greatly apreciated.

Welcome to the forum, do you have quad lamps and drl? As long as the security system isn't invloved, outboard lamps, voltage to the lamps is hot all the time, the dimmer and headlamp switch is on the ground circuit. Could be shorted to ground on that circuit, the security system or headlamp switch is causing a problem.

I have no driving lights on the truck and the security system is after market by clifford and the lights dont activate with the alarm so I will look into the head lamp switch thanx for your help.
