2000 Dodge Ram gas milage

Hello, I have a 2000 dodge ram pickup 4x4 5.9. Looking for ways to improve gas milage. I have heard that you can change the setting in the truck computer to increase milage but it decreases the towing power. Is this true? And if so what is the code to enter?

Yes they sell chipsets that go in it. You cannot just enter a code to change it, you will have to buy a chipset and the controler to tweek how you like, check with JC whitney.
