Engine Performance problem
2000 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My question is,

My ram idles high for a little bite then drops to normal. It does this all the time no matter if its hot or cold. It doesn't do it driving down the road but it will if I come to a stop sign. I have replaced the IAC motor twice and no change.
Any help would be great.

Does it do it each time you stop?

Check the tps sensor voltage.

Could also be that the egr valve is slightly carboned up and isnt coming back closed right away?

How logn sit stay idling high?
