My truck sqeals when idiling, but seems to lessen when I accellerate. The belt is tight and relatively new. I think it might actually a pully, is that possible? The sqealing is very loud and annoying, what could it be and how do I fix it?

No I havent tried that, but wont only one of them spin, as it's the "power point", and the belt propels the rest of the pullies to spin?

Thats the point, if the squeeling stops then its in the pulleys and belts, if not theres somethign else to look at!

I have a 1998 that had the same prob. I changed the tensioner and the belt. I know you said the belt is new, but with a bad tensioner in could ruin the belt.

Or the bad tensioner could cuase the belt to be improperly tensioined and cause the belt to slip and squeel.
