On the dash when I go to put it in drive or any other gear the orange meter isnt lined up, when im in drive the meter is in park but the truck still moves you just gotta count the gears to really know which one your in. How can I fix this?

If you're sitting in the driver's seat, the trim located under the column, above your shins is referred to as the knee boltser. You'll need to drop it down (a couple of phillips head screws on the bottom and push-in metal clips up top) and look for the adjuster. With the brake set you can manually shift through the gears (engine off of course) and look for the moving parts. You're specifically looking for a white gear about the size of a dime, maybe smaller, which is connected to a small fishing line type cable. This cable leads up to the indicator and twisting the gear will adjust the position.
Move the shifter through each gear to ensure that your indicator properly falls in to each window. There may be a small amount of compromise needed on your part because they don't always get perfectly in to each window. But I promise it will be a lot better than having half of the indicator in 2 when you're in Drive.
