My Dodge Truck is making a loud knock. Mechanics locally tell me it is coming from the #6 piston cylinder and that the motor needs replaced or rebuilt. I have found a 2002 motor with low milieage at a salvage yard and it seems to be the most reasonable solution. Will I have issues with the electrical system in trading out the engines?

I don't have the cross reference infor you need, but will say they change things all of the time. Can the salvage yard tell you? Also, make sure the locations for sensors are all the same.
