I have checked all the vacuum lines, there's no restriction any where. I don't see any leaks and I have been through 2 tps sensors, my idle randomly surges and when in park just runs up to about 3 thousand rpms the cat is bad I'm sure but what could cause this all the electrical connectors also read 5.0v give or take so I dont think I have to much power anywhere. I'm really stuck on this one.

Thanks.

If the catalytic converter is bad, replace it before there are new problems. Have you checked the idle air control valve (IAC)?

You should be able to see it working. Often times, if you remove them and clean them, they work again.
