When I start my truck up the idle seems rough and when I start driveing it it sometimes makes a popping noise that comes from the engine.I have never checked the timing, and I have changed a lot of sensors. Thee is no check engine light that comes on.I was wondering if the idle air control; valve might have something to do with it. Thanks again chuck

Hi there,

I would do a comp test just to eliminate any compression problem, check all vacuum hoses and I would also do the scan as you do not always get a check light with all codes.
