My steering gear assy. Is leaking fluid from where the pitman arm connects to. Does this mean my steering gear is in need of replacement or could it just be a seal?

You can try replacing the sector shaft seal, use the entire kit. Comes with new seals and metal spacers. Remove the pitman arm, I suggest using the tool designed for it, then remove the snap ring, then place a bucket under the shaft and start the truck, if the seals dont' blow right out turn the wheel to a stop briefly, dont keep it forced over, and don't run it after the seals are out. Have a friend help while someone watches, keep face out of the area, major hydraulic pressue and serious injury will result!
