1997 Dodge Ram Problem after Problem

My engine is lacking power and makes a hissing noise when accelerating. The power to the wheels is bare minimum. My check engine light came on and I am fed up with costly repairs. Can you help me please diagnose this issue.

Hi there,

The hissing may be a vacuum leak, this can cause your particular problem, get a scan done to check the set fault code in the ECU, the check light is a visual indication that there is a code set.
