My truck keeps fouling the plugs and seems to be running overly hot even though the temp. Gauge reads normal.I have replaced plugs, wires, rotar and cap. Thermostat, radiator, and water pump are fine

Has the check engine light come on? Also, how are the plugs fouling, fuel, oil?

You missed the other part of the equation:

What has been done to the intake? If you are fouling plugs and it is running hot, you are not getting the right air/fuel mixture. Possibly. Good next thing to check.

Yes, I understand what you are saying. At this point, I'm trying to determine where the problem is coming from. It could be a compression problem.

Do a quick compression check and that will tell you if that is the cause.

Just follow the fuel route and check each segment:
Suck, squeeze, bang, blow.

Suck comes first and is usually forgotten.
