I have a 1995 Ram 1500 with the 5.9L. It started stalling on me about 6 months ago, which I thought was due to the transmission being bad and had overhauled it, but the problem continued after the overhaul. I have also replaced the IAC motor twice, cleaned up the area around the IAC motor and replaced the TCC solenoid, since that is the only code the truck gives me. After replacing the IAC motors, the truck would not stall right away usually after about a week. The same thing has happened with the TCC solenoid. The truck didn't stall at all, only acted like it a couple times and now a week later it is stalling again.
A little more info. About the problem, it only does it after the truck is warmed up, runs great down the road, but when I go to stop is when it wants to stall, unless I rev the engine and hold the brake. After it does stall, it takes some cranking to get it to restart. The truck idles fine.
I don't like the shotgun approach for repairing vehicles and hope I can get an answer on here to solve this problem, without having to change multiple parts, just the one causing the problem. Not sure if it will matter, but the truck has 214500 miles on it
