1994 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1994 dodge ram I need to put an oil pump on it but dont know how or where it is and ont want to take to a shop.

Must remove oil pan it is mounted to crank craddle. Why do you need the pump?

I am buying it and the man was coming back from missippi to alabama and he was about an hour out and his oil p ressure dropped. So just from what I grew up around I guessed it was the oil pump and I might need a whole new motor just dont know yet but we will c.

Most likely rod bearings are shot oil pumps seldom fail

If crank is in good shape @$45 for bearings so with pan off you can drop crank mains rotate top half out and replace. Then pull cover off pump measure gap between pump gears if more than.015 replace.
