The only thing I can help with is the muffler. If you do your own work and it only needs a muffler, that can be done for around 50 bucks.

Where is it leaking coolant from?

Also, you should be able to replace the hood and door latch cheaply if you get the parts from a salvage yard.

Let me know about the coolant or if you have other questions. I've owned two near the same year. Great trucks, mine just rusted and they both loved gas.
