1999 Other Dodge Models spark plugs wires

I have1500 van with a 318 motor that I tuned up my self. I thank I got my spark plug wires mixed up.I do not understand my chilton firing order. Please help. THANKS JACKIE

I will explain the chiltons to you.

On the page with a picture of the distributor, the engine, and the firing order, look at the picture of the distributor.

There should be a black dot, and a arror by it pointing clockwise or counter clockwise.

The black dot is plug wire #1, so hook the wire from that place on the distributor cap to the #1 cylinder they have listed on the drawn engine with numbers.

For the next wire, look at the firing order, say its a 4, then whatever way the distributor has the arrow, counter clockwise or clockwise, follow it the way the arrow is pointed, the next one you land on is #4, put that wire on the #4 cylinder.

And so on.
