I have a 1994 dodge van 250 6 cylinder and I think that I am having trouble with either the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay. I was driving it home the other day and the van started to bog and the died on me. I pulled it over let it sit for about 5 minutes and then it started up I drove about 2 miles and it died agian I could not get it to start. I had it towed to my house and let it sit over night and it started in the morning ran about 5 minutes then bogged and died. I tried to find a fuel filter but can't find it. So now figuring it is the fuel pump or relay. Is there any way I can bypass fuel pump relay? Any way to determine which is bad. Before I go and buy the parts.

If the fuel pump is electric, I don't think I would do that. It would pump fuel all of the time. Get the job done right and take the worry out of it.
