Window Failure

Good day,
I just have a quick question about the 1998 Dodge Plymouth Neon. (Approx. 101km's)
The other day I was driving with the passenger window open half way and all of a sudden it just closed by itself. Myself, nor the passenger had done up the window and after we tried to re-open it, it would not go down. It's sweltering here in Ontario and the A/C doesnt work. Please help me figure out what is wrong with the window. Could it be a fuse that blew? And if so, how do we go about finding that fuse and switching it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Natasha

I do not believe it's the fuse. It's either the window switch but yet more than likely the widow motor which is inside the door panel.

If it was a fuse then the window would not have closed my its self. I agree with bootdog it sounds like the window motor, but u can check the switch first by swapping it with the one on the drivers side, This will only take a few mins if it still dont work then you will know its the motor. If the window works after you swap switches then check the bad one for corrision on the contacts and lightly sand them. You might not have to buy a new one.
