Thanks for the info James but may need a little more.
The manual I am looking at shows it is either an RT, SE or SXT. And you can probably get the engine liter size is you open the hood and look at several of the decals, they usually will tell you the size in liter.
I also use this info to try to narrow down any TSBs that may apply to you.
Does it blow cool while you are driving but when you come to a stop it starts to blow hot?
Also, let's do a test. With the hood up locate the radiator cooling fans. Turn the AC off. Make sure the car engine is cool. Start the car and see if the cooling fans are on. Are they?
Then reach in and turn the AC on high, blower on too. Did they come on?
Please go to Auto Zone (AZ) or O'Reilly's (OR) and for FREE they can pull the codes to the car. Most important: Once they check your codes, if they find something and you don't get it fixed and need to get back with us, please make sure you tell us exactly what the code was, number and all. Example, if the code was E0568 O2 Sensor bad. Then make sure you give us all of that. While there for FREE also they can bring their tester out and check your battery and alternator if you want them checked.
Will wait to hear back from you.
