Electrical problem
2002 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 10700k miles

my head light on the right hand side isent working on the low beam setting but on the high beam setting she is working fine. So I thought my bulb burnt out I changed that came home with the new one same thing so than I was thinking my switch was going, so I replaced it but still the head light isent working. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on this one.

Hi, did you check fuses, with a testlite? Under the dash, left side, fuse 18-- 10 amp. Goes hot when you turn on the headlamp switch, not only check fuse, use a testlite on the circuit, make sure the circuit has voltage.

Yes I checked all my fuses and you are right it is #18 and it is a 10a fuse but the problem lye's why is that fuse blowing. See the head light will stay on when the car is parked and has a new fuse, but as soon as I start driving it goes out right away.

I guess, I'd have to look at it. For testing, you could use a testlite in place of the fuse. The testlite controls the load on the circuit, you could use a digital voltmeter. Take right headlamp connector loose, turn on the headlamp switch, use the tester, if voltage is present, I suspect a short on the wiring circuit to the headlamp or faulty connector. Intermittent stuff is a pain to track down.
