Well a few days ago the transmission was starting to slip, and the check engine light came on, so I was thinking of bringing it to the shop next week,

well today I was coming back home from a cofee shop and I noticed a hum from my cd player. Upon pulling into my driveway my car pops out of gear, so I figured whatever I shut my car off. I went to go move it about 5 minutes later and the car started I put it in reverse and it died. With my cd changer lights flashing, I tried it again and the engine wouldnt even crank.

any ideas?

Hello, do you have any kind of theft system on the vehicle?

Make sure the battery has a full charge and the cables/wires are clean and tight on both ends.

Nothing is froze-up, can you turn the crank by hand?
There is a starter relay in the power distribution center, you can do some testing there. Make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the e-brake is set, block the drive wheels.

Thanks guys, actually there is no car theft system, this used to be a dealer car ( dealer owner owned it) so it is pretty much fully loaded (IE, cd changer sun roof keyless entry)

i tried the code reading process and nothing was working, at one point my fuel gauge didnt even work.

Alright guys thanks for all the help, but the problem has been fixed, it was all one big fustercluck.
Heres what happened and what was fixed

radiator broke inside, causing the tranny fluid, and radiatior fluids to mix.

This caused my tranny to mess up inside with a loss of fluid causing the faulty shifting issues

electrical errors were due to grounds. Being touched with fluids, and

so new radiator, and flushing of all fluids, cost me a total of 350

was that a good price.

Actually the trans. Fluid mixed with the coolant.
Installed new radiator flushed motor, trans and filter change. It ran great for a few days the it started to slip and now it wont come out of 2ND gear, still has reverse. Scan for codes revealed p0700 and p0755.
