Electrical problem
2000 Dodge Neon V4 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 113784 miles

this is for my brother and his wifes neon, it has been pretty cold here and the igition has been freezing, they have tried de-icer and pb penetrating and nothing has worked, sometimes they would stay in the car for 20-30 mins shaking the key just the get it started, and now today my brother who has a short fuse decided to take a flat head to it and pull it out, now I have to try and get it back together, the car has an immobilizer on it and I beleive he has engaged the immobilizer because it has cut power to the starter so there is not rotation, how can we bypass that so I can get it to the dealership for a new ignition cylinder?

Not so sure that you can. Im thinking a tow truck is in order. Once the anti-theft is activated, all requirements need to be met for it to disable.

Sorry about that, I thought we were talking about the factory alarm.
